Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski has come out in support of same-sex marriage ― just the third sitting Republican to do so.

OUT FOR SAME-SEX MARRIAGE
She joins Ohio Sen. Rob Portman and Illinois Sen. Mark Kirk as the only other two sitting Republicans to have expressed their support for same-sex marriage.
Dozens of Democrats, including Florida Sen. Bill Nelson, Indiana Sen. Joe Donnelly and North Dakota Sen. Heidi Heitkamp, have publicly shifted their view on the issue as well in recent months.

Murkowski’s announcement comes just days before the Supreme Court is expected to announce its rulings on a pair of high-profile cases on gay marriage.
